Google Application Engine Development
Impetus has been partnering with Google for the development of top-notch applications that run on the Google Application Engine. This has involved the building of extremely well architected and designed applications that meet functional as well as non-functional requirements and employ best development practices on Google's Application Engine.
Google Code Generator
There are a number of tools available, both commercial and open-source, that aim to improve the software development process by using the developer model (Domain classes, UML, etc). The Google App Engine (GAE) code generator tool targets applications planned to be deployed on the GAE platform (Java stack). The primary input for this tool is the domain entity xml. Based on these domain entities, the tool generates a Maven-enabled project structure along with the associated DAOs, Services and Controllers. This tool provides an Eclipse-based plug-in for editing the domain entity xml.
Shindig Ported to GAE
This is the first-ever python-based infrastructure for the OpenSocial community interested in the Google Cloud. This is currently the only true GAE-python based open social container for the Google App Engine.

Open Social Gadgets Development
Impetus has been developing open social gadgets since the release of the Open Social API. This has included gadgets with high download volumes to their credit as well as an open social device for video conferencing, which was demonstrated at Google’s Hackathon.
Zing
This is a Java Shindig-based OpenSocial-compatible social networking website, that aims to be simple. It has a comprehensive array of SNS features such as application gallery, scrapbook, albums, media items, mailing options, etc.

OpenSocial container, Shindig
Impetus has an excellent understanding of Google’s OpenSocial container. The company’s engineers have contributed a couple of patches to the Apache shindig project, which is the open sourced container implementation of OpenSocial, available both in Java and PHP.
