Impetus as a socially responsible corporate citizen
At Impetus, all the corporate social responsibility initiatives are carried out by our team, called iCare. Constituted by employees and their family members, iCare contributes to areas such as education, community, and social development. Under this initiative we are targeting
- Orphaned and homeless children
- The elderly
- Marginalized sections of society
- Victims of natural disasters
Impetus is sponsoring the education of underprivileged children to help these communities. Several initiatives have been launched, where we are undertaking the following
- Partnering with an orphanage Grace Care, adopting five of its children and supporting their education
- Partnering with the Rashtriya Bal Swarakshan Ashram and sponsoring one tutor to teach more than 15 children of all age groups at the orphanage
- Organizing blood-donation camps in association with the Rotary Club for employees and their family members
- Celebrating World Literacy Day annually by donating study material and stationery to orphanages
- Celebrating World Environment Day by initiating a Paper Recycling Drive at Impetus in partnership with two recycling agencies. Encouraging employees to keep Impetus clutter-free space and contribute towards saving the Planet
- Donating funds, medicines, blankets, clothes for the victims of natural disasters to help the families re-start their lives
