The Client: The client
is a Financial Management and Retirement Property Investment
Specialist. The client focuses on utilizing genuine tax
savings to allow greater cash flow with regards to investments
including shares, superannuation, banks and property. They
also deal in areas such as building wealth, reducing tax,
gaining security for the family and providing for retirement.
The Challenge: The main
challenge for this project was to design and develop a portal
for financial advice on funds management and investment.
The service, for now, is targeted towards affluent women
in the society. The investors in this company are all women,
who have significant experience on the Wall Street and have
made their money there.
The portal would allow capture of data (personal financial
information) based on which the software would make certain
financial investment recommendations.
The Solution: Impetus
developed an interactive collaborative application for client
members to interact with each other in JSP, XML, XSL, HTML
and AJAX. The application is deployed as per industry standards.
Users will interface with the application using IE 6.0+
Webs browser over the Internet. The workspace provides a
user-friendly tool that walks members through the process
of getting financially organized, protecting their assets
and growing their assets. It uses a simple question-based
interview interface to collect member information, and generates
easy to understand templates to help users view and better
understand their financial information.

to secure personal financial information, and created interactive
interface for providing various investment strategies.
