Impetus practices a unique engagement model referred to as the WhiteBox Engagement Model. A WhiteBox model offers 100% transparency and visibility into the offshore team to our clients. This model has helped us create a virtual extension to our clients' engineering and test teams. Our offshore teams operate in a way similar to our clients' local organization and provide visibility to the extent desired.

As regards various modes of working, we offer our clients different options depending upon the nature of relationship, the complexity of the work, client comfort factor and other such parameters.

Onsite + Offshore
This model involves having one or more engineers working onsite at the client site. These onsite engineers are individual contributors and also act as a liaison between client's in-house engineering team and Impetus' offshore engineers.

100% offshore
In such an engagement model, the entire team is based out of Impetus' offshore location. The client designates one senior staff member as the main point of contact for the offshore team. This person serves as a client Project Manager for the group and is responsible for coordinating day to day offshore task assignments.

Hybrid of Onsite + Offshore
This is an extension of the 100% offshore model with an exception that most of the offshore team members get a chance to visit the client's offices and interact with the product management, development and QA teams.
