We have over 10 years of experience in building application solutions for various aspects of the healthcare value chain.  Included under this are enterprise applications for healthcare service providers, home health care providers, long term care providers, payers, pharmacists, and healthcare insurance providers.

Some of the specific applications we have worked on include

-   Home Care Management
-   Delivery Management
-   Patient Registration
-   Equipment Management
-   Billing and Collection Management
-   Clinician Management
-   HIPAA Compliance
-   e-Procurement
-   Point-of-care Process Automation

Our healthcare clients depend on us to conceptualize, design and develop critical elements of their technology backbone to service their business operations.  As their strategic partners, we work with them to plan for optimal utilization of technology, and develop value-adding solutions that enrich their technology initiatives.

As an example, we have created a HIPAA enabler - the solution provides a simple plug-in that enables data conversion to and from various HIPAA formats. It also provides for a framework to implement HIPAA formats where there is no EDI mechanism present. Impetus HIPAA Enabler helps meet the HIPAA compliance requirement by encapsulating the existing software application from the external HIPAA-aware world. The only work that needs to be done in the native software language is to implement the HIPAA Enabler APIs so that the existing software communicates with the HIPAA Enabler layer. Impetus has also developed and implemented a security framework that caters to all the HIPAA specifications, including User Authentication, Data Authentication and Access Controls.
