IT major Impetus has joined hands with Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM-I) for a series of collaborative activities and applied research works.
IIM-I director Dr S.P Parashar and Impetus CEO Praveen Kankariya signed an agreement at Impetus facility on Wednesday announcing the institution of “Impetus Chair of Information Technology and System”.
Impetus CEO Praveen Kankariya said, “We are happy to partner with IIM-I. The engineering talent at Impetus combined with the management knowledge of IIM faculty and students, will present a unique and exciting synergy of interesting thoughts and ideas. The coming together these two hallmarks would bring immense value to the stakeholders and the community.”
On the occasion IIM-I director Dr.Parashar said, ” We hope the relationship will help in facilitating better academia-industry alliance through collaborative conferences, workshops, courses and other joint meetings of mutual interest. The Chair would provide the finest quality of research and analysis. It would benefit the students of IIM-I and their alumni at one end, and having a direct impact on the knowledge, resources and organizational exposure of Impetus employees at the other end.”
Some activities on which this alliance include guest lecture at Impetus and IIM-I facilities for IIM-I students and Impetus employees, collaboration on specific projects collaborative research and areas of joint interest, and for creation of white papers research publications and articles etc.
