The event shed light on Hadoop technology and channelized efforts to develop an active Hadoop community that can network and share information. 'Hadoop India User Group Meet Up' was an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from all participants. The event brought together leaders from the Hadoop developer and user communities. The speakers covered topics in the areas of extensions being developed for Hadoop, shared their experiences with Apache Hadoop/Hbase/Hive/PIG/Nutch/etc. and deliberated on future directions for the platform.
