SaaS Maturity Model

Home » Maturity Models » SaaS Maturity Model
The SaaS maturity model covers best practices for multi-tenancy, security, scalability, billing, and monitoring in a SaaS set-up. The model helps to evaluate existing features and benefits that accrue from them, and the gap that these might have from a possible ideal-state situation. This approach thus helps identify what all new features need to be built in order to promote the SaaS application to higher levels of maturity – whereby it can offer a higher level of services and productivity.

The four levels of the SaaS maturity model are given below. For more information on how Impetus SaaS practice can help you implement SaaS solution, write to us at inquiry@impetus.com.

SaaS Maturity Model
Level 4 Optimizing Highly secure multi-tenancy model with the ability to configure any licensing model, support hard SLAs, configure per-client business process flows, and offer predictive monitoring
Level 3 Adaptive Multi-tenancy is supported via single version and instance of the application with support for on-demand scalability and advanced support for diverse licensing models, integration, and monitoring
Level 2 Managed Applications run on consolidated infrastructure to serve multiple clients with basic support for traditional licensing models, global usage, integration, security and monitoring
Level 1 Reactive Each new customer requires a separate instance of the application to be maintained on a per tenant basis
