Qualification:
Graduates/Postgraduate in CSE/IT or related field
Experience:
3-10 Years of experience in Bigdata
Technology:
Big Data/Java/J2EE
Role/Skills:
- Software development experience in Java
- Should have a good programming background with expertise in Scala or Python
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and related eco system
- Practical experience on Mapreduce,
- Experience on complete SDLC/PDLC
- Exposure to Build and release management
- Experience, interest and adaptability to working in an Agile delivery environment
- Ability to select the right tool for the job
Good to have:
- Experience in working on Hadoop distribution (CDH/HDP/Map reduce)
- Hands on experience with spark/hive/pig/flume/sqoop/kafka
- Experience with RESTful services, JSON and XML metadata, containers such as Tomcat/Jetty
- Experience with AWS / Cloud / Cloud and DevOpsand DevOps
- Exposure to data engineering ( data exploration , modelling and schema designing)
Responsibilities:
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
- Build and Implement the solution. This will need to be hands on to build in quick prototypes/proof of concepts data processing benchmarks
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
- Will be developing Object Oriented, multi-tier applications in a complex architectural landscape
